If We Could See Tomorrow?

If we could see tomorrow, what of your plans? No one can live in sorrow, ask all your friends . . .

This is my first ever post, and usually I wouldn't do anything like this but I'm feeling creative and I have the time. My name is Chris I'm nearing the end of my teenage years and it's supposedly time to grow up? Yeah right! I'm living full throttle working hard, playing harder and sleeping hardest! I have an amazing girlfriend who I love so much and I live to lose myself in her eyes it's the most intense feeling I have ever felt.

Today I've been thinking, if you could look into tomorrow and see exactly whats going to happen in your own little world. We could avoid certain things maybe? Or deal with things differently, or just brace ourselves for the things we can't avoid.

If you had a chance to do it would you take it? I'm not sure, I like to know whats going on, no one likes be left in the dark about things, but then again there would be no such thing as a surprise! I think, personally I'm happy the way things are clicking into place in my life and I guess I wouldn't be here if I had time to mull over things instead of making a decision purely on instinct, because lets face it the best things happen on instinct. But lately I get this feeling in me that I don't like and I start thinking about crazy things and, well, to be perfectly honest sure enough these things have happened and I don't like it and it strangely accurate, and when someone says, ''I've got something to tell you'', or ''well . . .'' my heart sinks, it gets heavy and my body goes numb, it's my body's way of saying ''You know that thing I told you about? This is where you get the bad news''. My way around feelings or tapping into feelings, like the majority of people is through music. Everyone perceives lyrics in different ways and every song, every lyric is different. Have you ever made up an imaginary storyline from a song or made up your own subtle hidden meaning that only you can relate to? I write songs and I write about my feelings, always! I don't write about banging that chick backstage after a show, I write when I feel 'Wow that's massive i have to write about that!' So if something upsets me I'll write, but usually i end up with only a verse. This is how I measure feelings, If i cant write a whole song about it, don't worry. In the past I've written a song about 'global warming' i don't give a flying fuck about global warming but some people do so the public, they see global warming but in fact I've written a love song. Clever eh? Recently I've written a song that took a few months verse by verse because as I found out more and more and as time went by I could write more about it. Interestingly enough there is no double meaning in this song it's as plain as day what i see and what i feel and what i want people to know. But going back to how people perceive lyrics. The opening lyric to Don't Cry - Guns N' Roses ... If we could see tomorrow, what of your plans? No one can live in sorrow, ask all your friends. I see this and think this is a guy asking his significant other ''do you really want this? because I know that as soon as you walk through that door your going to become more than upset about losing me.'' that's what is see from that. what do you think?

Reading through this post I've realised that I've waffled on about nothing and not really made a point and there is no strong subject of discussion, but meh, practice makes perfect! I'll get the hang of things sooner or later. I'm better at answering other peoples questions than answering my own.

Cheerio :)
